WE CALL IT THE COACH ME MODEL
At Alchemy Academy Life Coach School the Coach Me Model is our foundation and we teach causal coaching. This means that we focus on finding the cause of our clients’ issues, rather than simply treating the symptoms.
For example, medication can treat physical pain (the symptom) indefinitely. But if you find the cause of the physical pain (the broken bone) and treat it, there is no need for the medication. The same is true with emotional pain. We don’t teach our clients how to manage their pain.

1 MASTERY OF THE COACH ME MODEL | HOW TO COACH YOURSELF
The COACH ME Model makes it possible for you to coach anyone on any topic that’s appropriate for coaching. It’s the foundation of the coaching you’ll do with your clients and on yourself. Be warned, once you learn this, you can never go back to not knowing it, and your life will never be the same. Throughout the program, you’ll be introduced to the COACH ME Model, see it in action, and use it in your own life to rock your world. Then, hang on tight. You’ll take what you learned to the next level with additional opportunities to apply the Model in situations you never dreamed were so simple to work through. We’ll go deep into why the Model is the way to approach any problem you or your clients might have and the freedom that comes from functioning from a clean place.
2 EMOTIONAL CHILDHOOD / ADULTHOOD
As children, we often look to other people to determine how we’re going to feel. Now that you’re an adult, your feelings are entirely your responsibility. This tool uncovers why this is such good news. With responsibility comes control and power, and once you realize how to take that power back and how to help your clients do the same, you can feel any way you want to feel—regardless of anyone around you.
3 THE MANUAL
If you or your clients want to take your relationships from good to amazing, the Manual is a tool you’ll want to really understand. The Manual is made up of the unspoken, unwritten expectations we hold for other people and how we use those expectations to create meaning that is often completely untrue. When you recognize this pattern and release the people in your life from the Manual you have for them, you are free to love unconditionally, which can change your relationships in ways you never imagined
Once your clients begin to understand the power of their minds, they’ll want your help putting it to work to create an awesome life. This work is beyond fun. You’ll gain tools during the program to help them do this in ways they have never been taught before. 4 BELIEF SYSTEM NAVIGATION
Your clients will come to you with thoughts they have believed for a very long time. Thoughts that seem innocent but are actually very poisonous, such as “I don’t know,” and “It’s hard.” Through this program, you’ll learn to show them how quickly they can adopt a new belief system that serves and empowers them. When people change their belief systems, they begin to change their entire world.
5 PAST /FUTURE FOCUS TECHNIQUES
Sometimes people have a hard time letting go of the past. Their story about what happened before becomes a part of their identity, and what they often don’t realize is that constantly focusing on their past is preventing them from fully participating in the present. You’ll learn how to help your clients shift their focus to a healthy place where they can learn to love themselves and their situations, and they can create the future they want.
6 UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
Of all the emotions in the world, love is our favorite one. Your clients may not realize this, but they can choose to feel love at any time and toward any person they want. This course will outline what we mean and how to feel more love immediately.
7 STOP BUFFERING CURRICULUM
You’ll also get training in the foundational reasons why we “buffer,” which is the term that we use to describe when we use external things to change how we feel emotionally. Buffering is something we do to avoid emotions.
You can apply this knowledge and our coaching tools to any type of compulsive activity your client has including overeating, overdrinking, scrolling on social media, pornography, etc.
Alannah currently uses these tools. She also coaches her clients frequently using these concepts. Their effectiveness is evident in the testimonials we get.

Requirements
At Alchemy Academy Life Coach School, Certification is earned.
It is not a formality, but rather something you receive after paying attention in class, practicing the tools, and applying them to real clients in effective ways.
We feel very strongly that it is an honor and privilege to coach people who need help. We will only certify coaches who are doing the work on themselves, have learned to hold the space, and are coaching from a place of service and love.
We also want to make sure our coaches are ready to take the massive action that is required to become an entrepreneur and/or a practicing coach. It’s with this intention that we created the process for Certification.
Throughout the program, you’ll practice with real clients and get feedback in your one-to-one Instructor Sessions. You’ll also have a chance to submit recorded samples of your real coaching sessions for written feedback from our expert instructors.
At the end of the program, you will take an exam before you are certified. Most of our coaches tell us that the exam is easy if you show up and pay attention during clas
Accreditation in the Coaching Industry
It’s important that all potential students understand that there’s no regulation or governing accreditation in the coaching industry.
In other words, there’s no government body or other neutral (nonprofit) authority accrediting this industry. There are, however, several private institutions attempting to regulate their style of coaching with a standard for the select group of coaches/schools who choose their guidelines and/or pay the required fees associated. We recommend all coaches understand and choose the type of education they want to receive and the type of coaching they want to do over any type of certificate.
At Alchemy Academy Yoga, we did not and will not apply for Certification through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) or any other organization claiming authority over regulating the industry, because our methodologies are quite different from theirs.
The ICF is focused on the core competencies of the “coaching relationship,” “taking action,” “holding the client accountable for their stated action in their coaching plan,” and “confrontation when client does not take agreed upon action.”
Coaches trained at Alchemy Academy Life Coach School are trained to help their clients understand the why of what they do, not just the how. We teach that when our clients understand their actions at a cognitive level, they don’t require an external source for “accountability.” Your clients will ultimately hire you because you’re ethical, knowledgeable, and can solve their problem.

The Entrepreneur Training
The Entrepreneurial Training is designed to take those committed to having their own profitable coaching business through the process of starting a coaching business and building a marketing plan.
Starting a business requires an entirely new skill set, but offers the best opportunity for success. Remember that many people go to college for four years to learn the content you’ll be learning and applying here.

Some things in life we put money into and never see a return on our investment, meaning we never make any of that money back. Education is not one of those things. Every single book you buy, class you take, or degree you get is an investment in your mind, your skill set, and your future.

Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to coach and receive feedback to help you grow and sharpen your skills. We don’t just teach you information—we help you apply and practice as you go. Will l be given a script or process to use with my clients?
While we don’t give you a word-for-word script for how to coach a client, we will teach you how to structure a coaching session and how to use all of the coaching tools taught by Alannah Young. Our curriculum includes a hefty workbook full of worksheets you can use in your sessions with your clients as a Certified Coach. We also give you predesigned coaching programs on a variety of topics to show you how to lead a client through a six-or eight-week program.
How do I tell people that I’m going to become a life coach?
Easy. Take a deep breath. Look them in the eye. And say, “I’ve decided to become a life coach.” The most important thing to remember is to make the decision for yourself—and to love your reasons. You’ve got this.
What’s your best advice for a student going through the Coach Certification Program?
Do your own self coaching. We can’t emphasize this enough. It’s one thing to read, study, and show up for class. It’s another to do your own self coaching and make that a priority. Remember, your transformation and your journey as a coach is what will inspire others. It’s how you'll connect with your clients. Don’t underestimate the power of taking out a pen and a piece of paper and having a look at your mind. This is how you start being an example of what’s possible.
